The district
The district is not uniform, and that matters if you are working out a journey. Nanded taluka covers just 403 km² but is by far the most densely populated, at 1,785 people per km² against a district average of 319. At the other extreme, Kinwat in the far north covers 1,532 km² — nearly four times Nanded taluka — with the lowest density in the district at 162 per km².
Nanded district sits in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, administered under the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Division. It covers 10,528 square kilometres, holds a population of 3,361,292 at the 2011 Census, and is divided into 16 talukas with the city of Nanded as its headquarters.
Four rivers shape it: the Godavari, Manjra, Manyad, Penganga. The Godavari runs through Nanded city itself, with the Vishnupuri barrage on it to the west, and continues east towards Dharmabad. The Penganga marks the northern belt, where Sahasrakund waterfall sits. The district borders Telangana and Karnataka, along with the Yavatmal, Hingoli, Parbhani, Latur districts of Maharashtra.
In practice the district divides into three: the dense, well-connected country immediately around Nanded city (Ardhapur, Mudkhed, Loha); the southern and eastern belt running towards the Telangana and Karnataka borders (Naigaon, Biloli, Dharmabad, Umri, Degloor, Mukhed, Kandhar); and the large, thinly-settled and hillier north (Bhokar, Hadgaon, Himayatnagar, Mahur, Kinwat).

Every page below gives the direction and the actual road or rail corridor instead, plus a live directions link that reflects current conditions. As a concrete example: while researching this site we found the Nanded–Kinwat distance quoted publicly as anything from around 108 km to 143 km, depending on whether the figure was straight-line or driving distance and which route was assumed. Publishing one of those would have been wrong for most readers.

It is worth being unambiguous, because plenty of local sites are not. Relax Body Massage Centre has a single location: opposite Citizen Gym at Deglour Naka, Nanded, Maharashtra 431604. There are no branches in any other taluka, no franchise locations, and no outcall or home-visit service.
The taluka pages on this site exist because customers genuinely travel in from across the district and the practicalities differ a great deal depending on where they start — a trip from Ardhapur is not comparable to one from Kinwat. They are not there to imply a presence we do not have.
